Hello everyone! My name is Mel Masson and I am a newly established photographer in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I was born and raised in Winnipeg. I am a wife and a mother of two amazing kids, 2 dogs and a cat. I am a very caring, loving individual with a passion for helping others and I am very friend and family orientated. 

I have always had a passion and love for photography. Ever since I was very young, I have been addicted to taking photos. My parents were constantly buying me more film for my camera and more albums to fill. I've always loved taking photos of my trips, my friends, family, my cats and even just random things around me. I always enjoyed making photo albums and scrapbooks ever since I was little. As a young adult my social media and my cellphones have always been filled with pictures and my room full of framed pictures and collages. Now as an adult with a family of my own I am so happy to be taking pictures of them and preserving all the memories I can. I believe that photography is so important on so many levels. It holds a very important visual memory that will last a lifetime. 

I am very interested in being a part of all kinds of types of portrait photography such as maternity, newborn and child, family portraits, self portraits, birth photography, engagement and wedding. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to help people preserved these amazing memories! I am so excited to be able to expand my horizons and explore this wonderful world of photography and to grow and learn more everyday!
